FASHION’S AI REVOLUTION IGNITES WITH GAME-CHANGING ALLIANCE

SIX ATOMIC AND LECTRA JOIN FORCES TO USHER IN THE AI-ERA OF FASHION DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Singapore, 16 September 2024—Six Atomic announced today a seminal strategic partnership with Lectra, leader in technology solutions accelerating the transition to Industry 4.0 for the fashion, automotive and furniture industries.

The alliance aims to reshape the apparel development and production process using generative AI, representing a significant step forward in the fashion industry’s technological evolution.

“This partnership is a defining opportunity to give the apparel industry the elusive technology revolution it’s dreamt of,” said Taime Koe, co-founder and CEO of Six Atomic. “To simply communicate to a chatbot a design you want and then get production-ready assets of that design instantly, with minimal human involvement, represents a significant advancement in our industry. With Lectra’s unparalleled industry expertise, resources, and global reach along-side us, we can now put this capability in the hands of brands and manufacturers worldwide.”

Six Atomic sets out to automate the entire design-to-production workflow, condensing what has traditionally been a multi-week or -month process into mere minutes. The solution enables designers to input text or image prompts describing their vision within a chatbot application. The chatbot automatically generates their style, including graded patterns, photorealistic images, 3D models, bill of materials, and tech packs, in an instant.

This pioneering approach empowers fashion brands and manufacturers to dramatically reduce time-to-market, iterate designs with unprecedented speed, minimise errors and inconsistencies in product development, and respond rapidly to market trends and consumer demands.

Maximilien Abadie, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer of Lectra, underlined: “Six Atomic is an innovative company that combines Artificial Intelligence expertise with a deep understanding of fashion design and product development processes. The teams at Six Atomic and Lectra will work together on developing technological innovation for fashion companies.”

This strategic alliance combines Six Atomic’s technological prowess with Lectra’s deep industry knowledge, and robust client relationships. The partnership is expected to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven design and product development processes throughout the global fashion industry.

“We see in this partnership an excellent fit and great potential,” said Marc C. Close, co-founder and COO of Six Atomic. “ Lectra’s stalwart presence in the fashion market provides us with an unparalleled opportunity to test and scale our technology. Together, we’re poised to transform the way the industry approaches product development.”

As part of this strategic partnership, Lectra will acquire a minority stake in Six Atomic’s capital through a capital increase. This investment, along with options for Lectra to gradually increase its stake, underscores a strong mutual commitment to reshaping the future of fashion technology.
